Genre: True Crime/Mystery
Host Sarah Koenig investigates a murder from 1999 in Serial. 18-year-old Hae Min Lee was found dead in a park close to where she lived. Adnan Syed, a former boyfriend of Hae Min’s, was arrested, brought to trial, and found guilty of the murder. But Koenig picks apart the case in her podcast, trying to get to the truth. Is Syed guilty? Learn about the details of the case and decide for yourself.
2. Stuff You Should Know (from How Stuff Works)
Genre: Information about everything – science, history, pop culture, etc.
Join hosts Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant as they tackle a variety of topics. They delve into science, history, pop culture, and more. The goal is to explain about…well, everything. They have episodes on many different topics, and they share stuff you should know about in an entertaining and even comedic way.
3. Atlanta Monster

We’re in Atlanta in the 1980s. Children are disappearing from the city streets, and Wayne Williams is accused of the murders and sent to prison. 7. The Daily Boost (with Scott Smith)

Scott Smith hosts this motivational podcast designed to help you through the stress and anxiety of life. It covers topics like scheduling, handling stress, and more. Smith is funny and straightforward and provides you with advice and strategies for success.
8. No Quit Living
Genre: Business/Motivational
Host Christopher Wirth interviews entrepreneurs, speakers, social media gurus, marketing and branding professionals, authors, and many, many others on his podcast. The common theme is that the guests on the show all share stories of perseverance and never giving up. Through these stories, you’ll learn about small business tips, growth, media, and press.
